ROSIE MACKEAN
Rosie Mackean is a freelance chef, food stylist, home economist and recipe developer. Having completed chef training and 2 years working in London kitchens, Rosie turned her lifelong obsession for cookery books and shows into a career. As a skilled and experienced chef, Rosie is comfortable with all elements of cookery and relishes the variety of challenges she encounters in life behind the camera. Rosie lives in Hackney and is usually eating or cooking when she is not working. She has a degree in Modern Languages and speaks Spanish, Italian and French.
FOOD STYLIST
Rosie has worked on a massive range of projects over her seven years in the industry, from cook books, advertising and restaurant PR.
Rosie has styled campaigns for TravelSupermarket, Peroni, Just Eat, Coco di Mama, Crosta and Mollica, Branstons Pickles, Carrs Crackers and Prosecco Superiore. She regularly styles cookbooks including Big Zuu's Big Eats, These Delicious Things and The British Cookbook.
Rosie is also an accomplished recipe tester and developer, with clients including Penguin Books, Bloomsbury, Pavilion, Octopus and Random House and Ebury Books. She has contributed recipes to BBC Good Food Magazine, Pit Magazine and LondontheInside.

Rosie creates content on her successful instagram @rosiemackeanpastaqueen for brands like Waitrose, Merchant Gourmet, Katto Knives, Carrs Crackers, Prosecco Superiore and Eataly. She also consults on branded content for food and drink brands; creating recipes and concepts before shoots, and then as a stylist and food producer on set.
