Rosie Mackean is a freelance chef, food stylist, home economist and recipe developer. Having completed chef training and 2 years working in London kitchens, Rosie turned her lifelong obsession for cookery books and shows into a career. As a skilled and experienced chef, Rosie is comfortable with all elements of cookery and relishes the variety of challenges she encounters in life behind the camera. Rosie lives in Hackney and is usually eating or cooking when she is not working. She has a degree in Modern Languages and speaks Spanish, Italian and French.

Rosie has worked on a massive range of projects over her five years in the industry, from cook books, advertising and restaurant PR. 
Rosie has styled campaigns for TravelSupermarket, Peroni and Just Eat. She recently styled the book Fitter, Happier, Heathier by Kate Ferdinand and Big Zuu's Big Eats.
Rosie is also an accomplished recipe tester and developer, with clients including Penguin Books, Bloomsbury, Pavilion, Octopus and Random House and Ebury Books.


Rosie's credits as a Home Economist include Save Money Good Diet (ITV), Michael Mcintyre's Big Show (BBC), Nadia's Family Food (BBC), Big Zuu's Music Christmas Special (Dave), Big Zuu's Comedy Christmas Special (Dave), Big Zuu's Big Eats (Dave), I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2020 (ITV). Rosie's experience, confidence and skill as a chef makes her an invaluable asset to a TV set.
